My present to myself - Pink Cyclamen
After feeling very moody for so long now I have tried to focus on another colour other than black. So I chose pink. I have always liked pink and although some would say it is not a colour that suits me (being a fair skin and freckled red head) I think it is nice. So pink is in, everything is going to be pink from now on (well almost everything).
I love my pink Crocs
My letter to Father Christmas this year will say "Dear Father Christmas, I have been a good girl (most of the time) and this year I would like PINK. Not the pop star Pink, not too keen on her music, but lots of things in my Christmas stocking that are pink. Thanks S".
My handy pink tool kit
Look at all those pink birthday cards.
OK ,just a small glass
Been doing a bit of sewing lately, thought I needed a new hobby that doesn't have any calories (I'm a foodie and a cook, but thats another story). I've been making things for my house makeover project - I have a plan of action that I will tell you about later. I've made some cushions and some hanging hearts - I love vintage, shabby chic and home made style. I've also made a cute sausage dog out of the leg of a pair of trousers and some odd bits of material. I'm very impressed with myself didn't think I could work the sewing machine. (Thanks nan - something must have rubbed off).
Woof
By the way, inspiration for my house makeover is coming from lots of blogs I have been reading. Happy Loves Rosie is fabulous and I have read it from start to finish - Happy surely makes me feel a lot happier. Also Vintage, Pretty and Shabby again I read it - I laughed and cried, it should be a book. Their style is fantastic and I want it all (in pink). I also want a caravan in the garden - this wish is what started it all and its how I found these blogs. Aaaahhhhhhh - sorry I keep yawning, well it is 10.40pm. Time for bed now, I'll have another bash tomorrow night. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
